At DuraCube, we believe the benchmark for bathroom joinery systems needs to move. For the past twelve months, we have challenged the status quo of the Australian built environment—listening to the needs of architects, builders, facility managers, and councils.
By sharing prototypes and collaborating with the people who use these spaces every day, we’ve focused on one goal: bringing you the absolute best. The result is the release of three new systems and one new compact laminate range that move far beyond the "standard" compliance checklist. We aren’t just expanding our catalogue; we are fundamentally changing how public and private spaces feel, breathe, and include.

First Nations Colours & Patterns
Moving Beyond Design to Connection.
The Concept: At the heart of this range is the Living Histories philosophy. This is not just a collection of patterns; it is an architectural realization of the role water plays in our shared story—a living thing that connects people, country, culture, and wellbeing.
Expert Voice: "Living Histories has been realised to encapsulate the role of water as part of a larger system; a living thing that connects people, country, culture, and wellbeing." - Quebah Otene, Senior Designer, Blaklash
The Value: For the first time, architects can specify bathroom systems that contribute to a building’s cultural narrative. By honoring the connection between water and Country, these spaces provide a sense of belonging and respect for all users.
Social Impact: Every specification supports First Nations artists and contributes to social procurement goals via our partnership with the Clontarf Foundation.
The Integrated Cubicle with Basin
The Ergonomic Future of Private Amenities.
The Concept: We’ve challenged the "standard" toilet block layout. By integrating the wash basin within the private cubicle, we eliminate the design gaps found in communal washing areas, such as lack of privacy for menstrual hygiene and bullying "hotspots."
Expert Voice: "The DuraCube cubicle with basin offers a tidy, versatile, and ergonomically considered solution for private all-in-one cubicle planned amenities." - Simon Rainsford, Senior Project Lead, AJC Architects
The Value: This "all-in-one" approach is functionally superior and easier to maintain. It meets the growing demand for trauma-informed and gender-inclusive design in Australian schools and universities.
The Accessible Ironing Station
Inclusivity by Design, Not as an Afterthought
The Concept: The modern workplace is defined by its End-of-Trip (EOT) facilities. We believe accessibility should be seamless and high-end, not a "bolt-on" addition. This station bridges the gap between sleek, minimalist aesthetics and rigorous universal access standards.
The Value: Built with silica-free, high-durability materials, this station is designed for high-traffic commercial use while meeting the ergonomic needs of all users. It helps developers future-proof their assets and exceed compliance benchmarks.
Key Design Features:
Universal Reach: Ergonomically positioned for seated or standing use.
Space-Efficient: Minimalist footprint that integrates into luxury EOT layouts.
The Player Locker
Facilities Built for Championship Culture.
The Concept: A locker room is where a team’s culture is forged. We’ve designed a storage solution that withstands the "extreme use" environment of elite sports while providing the customisation needed to inspire pride and excellence in athletes.
The Value: Moving beyond standard joinery, our Player Lockers feature moisture-managed materials and high-impact ratings, backed by a 10+ year warranty. They are built to survive the rigors of game day, from local pavilions to professional stadiums.
Key Design Features:
Club Identity: Fully customisable with team logos, nameplates, and colours.
High-Impact Build: Engineered to withstand moisture, steam, and heavy gear without corrosion..
