Manufacturing Sustainably

Duracube pioneers many reduced wastage initiatives, and we are constantly searching for wastage reduction opportunities. Some of our initiatives are based on recycling, and some are based on product development and repurposing.

Duracube recycle and repurpose all possible components within our manufacturing process, from plastic packaging being reused as crate edging to prevent product freight damage, to recycling aluminium and hardware, pallets, and more.

Duracube have also implemented product development to reduce manufacture sustainably, introducing locker systems and a custom cut-to-size offer. Both of these were introduced to utilise offcuts from toilet partition manufacturing, whilst making it easier for our customers to source the full suite of bathroom joinery systems from one supplier.

Duracube also facilitates the responsible disposal and recycling of Durasafe Compact Laminate toilet partitions following its product service life. Returned toilet partitions are separated by material before the aluminum and stainless steel components are recycled through appropriate channels, and the compact laminate is exported to start its next lifecycle in alternative applications in developing nations.
