Anytime Fitness – Ropes Crossing

Anytime Fitness Ropes Crossing is a modern 24/7 fitness facility located in Sydney’s growing western suburbs. Designed to support continuous use, the project required high-performance amenity spaces that could withstand heavy daily traffic while maintaining a clean, contemporary aesthetic aligned with the Anytime Fitness brand.

Project Brief

Delivered by Vantage Space with design by Archi Spectrum, the facility prioritises durability, privacy, and ease of maintenance across change and shower areas, ensuring members experience a premium and functional environment at all hours.

Key Challenges:

Creating amenity spaces for a 24-hour gym presents unique challenges:

High-Frequency Use: Materials must perform reliably under constant stress without degrading visually or structurally.
Privacy & Acoustics: Users require a high level of discretion and acoustic separation in changing areas.
Hygiene & Ventilation: Enclosed spaces need robust moisture resistance and effective airflow management

Duracube Solution

To address these challenges, DuraCube’s Full Height Privacy Core (FHPC) System was used throughout the facility . The floor-to-ceiling configuration delivers enhanced privacy, improved acoustic separation, and a strong architectural presence.

Constructed from our 13mm DuraSafe compact laminate in 5333 Southern Pine, the system is engineered to withstand the high humidity and heavy foot traffic typical of gym environments. The design prioritises both compliance and comfort, featuring ambulant cubicles with compliant hardware and slotted airflow panels to ensure effective ventilation within the full-height privacy systems.

To create a cohesive interior, Bench Seating Wall with Coat Rail (BSW-C) were installed in matching 5333 Southern Pine.These benches pair robust utility with style, utilising powder-coated steel legs and black hardware to reinforce durability while mirroring the facility’s contemporary, industrial aesthetic.
