Located beside Trobriand Park in Glenfield, Blinman Park has undergone a major upgrade to provide high-quality sporting and community facilities for local residents. The redevelopment, led by Campbelltown City Council, features a new synthetic cricket pitch, two full-sized football fields, and a modern amenities building complete with accessible toilets and change rooms

Project Brief

This revitalised precinct strengthens Campbelltown’s growing network of community recreation spaces, offering an inclusive, durable, and easy-to-maintain environment that supports year-round use by local clubs and sporting groups.

Key Challenges:

High Public Use: Designing amenities capable of withstanding frequent, high-volume use from sports teams and the community.
Weather Resistance: Ensuring materials perform reliably in outdoor, high-moisture conditions.
Accessibility Compliance: Integrating inclusive change room and toilet layouts in line with accessibility standards.
Low Maintenance: Specifying surfaces that maintain appearance and performance despite heavy use and exposure.

Duracube Solution

To meet the functional and design demands of this busy sporting facility, DuraCube systems were specified throughout the new amenities building. The installation included:

Pedestal Mount Overhead Braced (POB) Toilet and Change Room Partitions: Providing exceptional durability, privacy, and ease of cleaning — ideal for high-use sporting environments.
Pedestal Mount (PPM) Partitions: Ensuring strength and stability across shared amenities while maintaining a clean, contemporary appearance.
Bench Seating with Coat Rail (BSW-C): A practical addition for player convenience, offering organised seating and hanging solutions within the change rooms.

The selected finish, DuraSafe 279 Charcoal, brought a refined and modern tone to the facility.. The deep charcoal palette introduced a sense of sleek professionalism while maintaining durability and visual harmony with the building’s overall aesthetic.

The upgraded amenities at Blinman Park now deliver a functional, resilient, and visually consistent environment that enhances user experience and long-term maintenance efficiency. DuraCube’s Bathroom Joinery Systems contribute to a cohesive, low-maintenance solution designed to serve the community for years to come.
