Elevating the End-of-Trip Experience in Sydney’s CBD
In 2024, No.1 Martin Place—one of Sydney’s most iconic commercial addresses—set a new benchmark for premium workplace amenities. Surrounded by global enterprises, luxury retail, and fine dining, the landmark building now offers a seamless transition from commute to office through its newly upgraded End-of-Trip (EOT) facilities.
Driven by Charter Hall’s vision, the project was far more than a functional upgrade. The brief called for an EOT experience that actively promotes sustainable commuting, supports tenant wellbeing, and reflects the prestige of the building itself.
Design Excellence Meets Precision Delivery
Award-winning architecture firm Gray Puksand led the design, bringing together spatial intelligence, refined materiality, and user-centric planning. Renascent, as the appointed builder, executed the complex refurbishment with precision—navigating logistical challenges within a live commercial environment while maintaining the highest standards of finish and functionality.
The result is an EOT space that balances elegance and endurance, tailored to meet the needs of high-volume usage without compromising on aesthetics or environmental performance.
Key Challenges:
To help realise the project’s vision, DuraCube supplied a range of high-performance systems, thoughtfully tailored to complement the architectural intent. The facility features Full-Height Privacy Ultra Partitions and Plinth-Mounted End-Of Trip Lockers—delivering both durability and a sleek, contemporary aesthetic. All elements were selected for their moisture resistance and low-maintenance qualities, quietly supporting the project’s long-term performance and sustainability goals.
The End-of-Trip facility at No.1 Martin Place is a testament to what can be achieved when architectural vision, construction expertise, and purpose-built systems align. It now stands as a showcase of best-practice design for tenant wellbeing, setting a new benchmark for workplace infrastructure in the Sydney CBD.
